Opera TV Emulator: Overview & support

What is the Opera TV Emulator?

The Opera TV Emulator allows any web developer to develop and test content for TVs and other appliances running the Opera Devices SDK. It comes packaged as a VirtualBox image and can be run on Windows, Mac and Linux hosts. The Opera TV Emulator supports all features of the Opera Devices SDK:

  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript/DOM
  • SVG, Canvas
  • HTML5 <video> and <audio>
  • Simulate limited RAM availability
  • Debug with Opera Dragonfly

Opera Software does not provide any official support for the Opera TV Emulator. However, a number of communication channels are available to get help with the Opera TV Emulator and be notified about the latest news.
