Interesting article, but you don't really give any details about OBML itself...
I think it would be really useful to see an option in Opera desktop to use the proxy for those who have limited bandwidth...

Looking at the article title, i was expecting technical specifications and format of OBML and that piqued my curiosity.
I was interested in seeing how you handled data structures, compression etc.
It also made me think of using Opera Mini's proxy for Opera Desktop and how viable that would be.

I'm realy interested in the potencial of using OBML and OBML proxy server farm infrastructure to deliver high speed browsing experience in the desktop opera browser.
Because most of the time I'm on a low bandwith ( GPRS ), i tend to use opera mini on the desktop. For that i need a emulator, and not all the features of the opera desktop are available, wich makes browsing some what cripled. ( reference:

I'm not 100% sure when this feature will be included in a public release, but it shouldn't be too long.
