Dragonfly Launch from Source File
When launching Opera Dragonfly Opera renders this page. Since Opera Dragonfly is a web page Opera must load Opera Dragonfly every time it is launched. Rather then being able to debug instantly we must wait...
seconds for dragonfly to load. So I thought of a possible solution to eliminate this waiting time. Store dragonfly's source file in a folder and update it. When you launch dragonfly Opera will render the app then it will save source to a folder. Every launch of dragonfly afterward Opera fetch the source file from the folder and render it rather then accessing it from the server when launching. Then while debugging Opera will silently overwrite the previous source file in the folder and replace it with the new source file (whether it is new or not, this will eliminate designing a complex update system).
Launch Dragonfly>Access source file>Render>Tada
(Update: Lucideer pointed out it is possible to launch dragonfly from a folder already, but setting that up is not out-of-the-box and you must manually check for updates
This would answer or "dragonfly loading..." woes.
Edit: You should be able to turn off "silently overwrite source file" in opera:config.
